How do you change the oil pan gasket in a 1993 sidekick?

Oil filter adapter gasket??? Do not understand the question. When you change the oil filter, the new filter has a gasket already installed. What exactly are you talking about?

drain the oil form the drain plug on the pan, then unbolt the pan, and change the gasket. Rebolt the pan and refill the oil. Good luck

First try snugging up the oil pan bolts but if that doesn't work you'll have to change the oil pan gasket.

I needed to change the oil pan on my Camry and couldn't get a gasket at any of the local dsicount shops. I called the nearest Toyota dealer and the service guy told me that he doesn't replace the gasket. Instead he uses RTV silicon, I did the same and haven't had a problem.

To change the oil pan gasket u need to raise the engine about a foot in order to get to the oil pan .
