Well.. For starters we need to know the engine in the car is it a 3.8 L? (It will say 3800 on the engine) If so then one at a time remove the wires form the electronic ignition pack (Black rectangle with six cables coming off it) for the rear bank of plugs and wires you'll have to remove the engine cover which is the part that says 3800 to do this you must remove the engine oil filler cap and neck (hold by neck and turn counter clockwise till it stops then jsut pull out) and lifting on the engine cover note that it slips underneath a clip and the back of the engine to hold it down and make sure you get it under the clip when you put it back on.. Remove the plugs and wirse one at a time and replace them as you go. What I mean is do the first one, pull the plug and wire, replace the plug and replace the wire witha similar size one from the kit. A warning to you, Sparkplugs are fragile.. and if you break one off in the engine you're in real trouble I would suggest that if you aren't entirely comfortable doing it; get a mechanic to, regular tune-ups are not really expensive but if you break off a plug you're looking at big money because you engine has to be taken out and practically rebuilt.
Plugs, Wires, Air/fuel filters, PCV valve
Give it a tune up. Change the spark plugs and wires..
it does not have a distributor cap, it has a coil pack, all you can change is the plugs and wires, just fallow the wires from the plugs back to where they end and theres your coil pack, butch
Just follow the plug wires to the chambers and you'll find the spark plugs.
Remove the plug wires by turning them on the plugs to break the seal then pull then off and unscrew the plugs and regap the new ones and reinstall them
I HAD A 1990 BONNEVILLE I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH.IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE CRANK SENSOR.ITS BEHIND THE HARMONIC BALANCER. HOPE THIS HELPS
A faulty ignition coil or module can cause misfiring.

The spark plugs on a 2004 Pontiac Vibe are changed by removing the plug cover, disconnecting the spark plug wires, and taking out individual spark plugs using a deep wall socket. New plugs are then set to the proper gap and torqued into place.
To change the spark plugs on a Pontiac Fiero, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the spark plug wires, noting their order for reinstallation, and use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old plugs. Inspect the plugs for wear, then install new plugs by hand to avoid cross-threading, and tighten them to the manufacturer’s specifications. Finally, reconnect the spark plug wires and the battery cable.
