I don't know this car specifically but I could possibly give you something to look for. I would guess this car has coil packs, a mini coil for each cylinder. Chevy might have mounted the coil-pack directly over each spark plug. Somewhere on the valve cover there might be 4 black, possibly square boxes evenly spread on the valve cover with wires going to each. There are probably each bolted down, or screws. However you get them off, under them might be the spark plugs. It might have a long rubber boot going all the down to connect to the actual plug

The spark plugs for any Chevy cobalt are located under the 4 wires that go into the center top of the motor, each one is evenly spread out into a line. Unplug those wires and below them are the spark plugs
