First obtain new spark plugs. Then set them to the correct gap as specified on the VECI label. Once gapped, coat the ends with silicone dielectric grease.
Next, remove the wires from the old plugs. Grab, twist, pull. If a wire breaks, replace all the wires as any fragility indicates a chemical breakdown of the insulative material.
If the engine is hot, wait for it to cool down fully.
Use a 5/8 inch to unscrew the old spark plugs. Some or all plugs may be easier to access through the wheel wells (with truck jacked up off the ground) than reaching down through the hood opening.
The second plug on the driver's side may be difficult to access due to interference of the steering column intermediate shaft. If so, you can either use a floor jack and wood to raise the engine by the oil pan, or use an open end wrench to turn a short plug socket, or use a swivel-type spark plug socket.
Screw the new plugs in place where the old ones were. Reattach ignition wires.
It is usually a good idea to replace distributor cap and rotor when replacing plugs on this truck. PULL THE WIRE OFF THE ONE YOUR REPLACING. The plug you are replacing is the wire you pull off. This way you won't put the wrong wire back on the plugs, AND CAUSE MORE PROBLEMS.

Remove the spark plug wires by pulling them off gently, then use a spark plug socket and ratchet to unscrew the old spark plugs. Install the new plugs by threading them in by hand to avoid cross-threading, then tighten them with the socket. Finally, reconnect the spark plug wires and the battery.
