How do you change the sparks plugs in a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica?

Hi there,

I have done these many times, you need to remove the intake manifold to gain access to them. Below are the step by step direction to remove the intake manifold.

REMOVAL - UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove air cleaner housing and inlet hose.
3. Remove engine cover.
4. Remove throttle and speed control cables from throttle arm and bracket
5. Remove the two cable bracket retaining bolts and position the cables and bracket assembly out of the way.
6. Remove the oil fill tube to upper intake manifold retaining bolt
7. Remove the oil level tube to upper intake manifold retaining bolt
8. Disconnect electrical connectors from the following sensors and actuators:

1. • Manifold Tuning Valve (MTV)
   • Short Runner Valve
   • Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR)
   • Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
   • Idle Air Control (IAC)
   • Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)

1. Remove alternator support bracket
2. Disconnect the EGR tube
3. Disconnect vacuum hoses from the following

1. • Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve
   • EVAP Purge Solenoid
   • Power Brake Booster

1. Remove the front and rear intake manifold support brackets
2. Remove the upper intake manifold retaining bolts and manifold. Clean all gasket sealing surfaces.

Remove Air manfiold cover on top engine fairly easy remove air filter connected to it once cover is off coil pack should be visable unscrew packet pull coils out. us a long socket spark plug socket unsrew and remove spark plug. when installing new spark plug be cautious to tighten only 90 degree quater of a clock
