You go to the command center, the black screen, an push the left or right buttons, I think the volume and channel buttons. you need to play around until you get to the SVC Sys Settings display. There you have to set day, month, year and time. You will have to set this every time you disconnect the battery(s). This will also change the little digital clock above

∙ 14y agoOn the 1999 SLK there are 2 black knobs just below the speedometer. The left one resets the trip the right one sets the clock. Pull the right one out and hold it a couple of seconds. Then turn it to the right to adjust the minutes and turn it to the left to adjust the hours
