So far, I don't think that you can change the family tree on Sims 2. You can make Sims related through marriage, but not through the bloodline (unless your sims decide to have children). Sorry for the inconvenience.

∙ 11y agoYou should be able to see the tree; simply go to the sim you wish to see the tree of and onto the 'simology' tab (the one with the Plumbob icon). There should be an image of a blank family tree with parents and three children in the top left-hand corner. If you hover your mouse over it, the words 'family tree' should appear by your mouse. Click it and the family tree will open.

∙ 11y agoInstall the Nraas Master Controller Mod, and then click on the sim, Click: Nraas/Master Controller/Basic/Family Tree. This will open the broken family tree.
