How do you check the Transmission Fluid on Renault Megan 2000' , 1600cc
How do you check the transmission fluid on Renault Megan 2000' , 1600cc
There isn't one apparently you have to take it to Renault and they have to put it on diagnostics machine.
The 1997 Honda Civic gearbox has a fluid capacity of 4.8 quarts. You can check the gearbox fluid level with the gearbox dipstick.
Assuming that this is a manual gearbox most Renault models have a plastic butterfly bolt located on the front of the gearbox this is the filler/level plug
To check and see if your brake fluid level is low, locate the brake fluid reservoir. If the level of the fluid does not reach the 'full' line on the reservoir, add some.
its on the bottom of the gearbox sump. but advise this be done by specialist as it requires diagnostic equipment to get fluid to correct level and pressure else it will go into limp mode
i have a Renault magane scenic, i have removed the auto box to find out that the lugs had snapped on tho torque convertor, i than looked to see if the fluid pump was seized and it was, this can be replaced should you be able to get one, ensure your gearbox code is correct first
Hello, Jamison here, It must be scanned, FYI- it has nothing to do with---OIL,FILTERS,FLUID LEVELS,or anything you could service without A scanner
Is it automatic or manual? If automatic, check the fluid levels on the gearbox. If this doesn't work, book it into a garage. If manual, it could be the clutch, yet again you need to get professional help, book it into a garage.
