They didn't have a service port back then so you have to tap into the fuel delivery line at the fuel filter with the proper fittings and attach your fuel pressure gauge inline. With the fuel pump running and engine off the pressure should peak between 41 and 47 psi.
The fuel pressure for a 94 Suzuki Intruder 1400 is between 40 and 48 psi. A fuel pressure gauge is needed to test the pressure.
There is a schrader valve on the fuel rail. It ought to have a black cap on it that you twist off.
If it has the 4.3L engine it would require 41 to 47 psi.
Need to check fuel pressure first to make sure pressure is correct. then check fuel filter and make sure it is open and you can blow through it. do that first then let me know what the out come is. then will check other things.
41 - 46 psi at the fuel rail
Ensure that the fuel Pump is PRIMED and also that the electical connections are good to it. If all is good there, check for a kink/leak across the lines.
In the throttle body.
Fuel pressure can range from 39 PSI to 52 PSI in a properly operating system.
the pressure at idle should be 40 to 44 psi
check to make sure trottle posisioning censer and map censer are ok
41 to 47 psi.
check the fuse and change the fuel pump relay.
