Will exterior acrylic paint work on your metal gate that has been powered coated?

Not directly onto powder coat. But it will work if you prime the powder coat.

Can you paint acrylic enamel paint over base coat paint?

If the base coat used in your project is water base then yes, you bet you can. If there is any chance that the base coat used was an oil base paint then you cannot paint directly over it. The acrylic enamel will not adhere to the oil base paint and will begin to peel off as soon as it is dry. In which case a coat of primer is in order.

Can you paint enamel paint over acrylic paint?

It is very easy to coat enamel paints with acrylic paints but you really should pay attention to a couple of points if you want it to be successful. Always sand the the enamal well and fill any holes with lindeed putty then apply a good coat of undercoat. I use an oil based undercoat first and then several days later sand the undercoat lightly and coat with acrylic all purpose undercoat. Once you have done this you can apply acrylic top coats. If you are using a self priming type acrylic paint on external work, you could skip the acrylic undercoat and apply it straight on to the oil based undercoat but you must leave it for several days to dry completely before coating with acrylic. I have used both methods over the past 5 years and both have not shown any sign of problems to date.

Can you use acrylic paints on plastic?

You can use acrylic paint on plastic provided you prepare the surface first. Before you begin painting you will have to prime it with paint that is suitable for plastic, such as an enamel paint. Once you have finished painting with the acrylic paint, the project will need a top coat.

What do you need for acrylic nails?

To apply acrylic nails you need... several nail files and buffers a cuticle pusher nail clippers a tip cutter nail tips and tip glue acrylic powder - at least a pink, and probably also colored acrylic for the tips (this has a shelf life) acrylic monomer (this has a shelf life) a brush primer (this ALSO has a shelf life!) top coat. If you use gel top coat you need a lamp to cure it. To fill them you also need acrylic nail nippers IME it would cost you more to set up for doing your own acrylics than it does just to go get them done.
