You need to get a special compression gauge. After you get, you need to make sure that your battery is fully charged and you have warmed it up. Then you have to remove the spark plugs. Connect the gauge to the first cylinder and crank the engine 7-10 times. Then check the pressure. I believe it should be about 175 psi.
Be extremely careful when you do that. Manufacture recommends to disconnect the fuel before you start. But if you are careful enough you do not need to do that.
