Look drivers side, behind radiator), below airbox & hoses.
Little yellow plastic dipstick with round head & held in place by retaining spring.
On S40 2.4i LHD it's passenger side (close to middle) between radiator and engine. Not easy to access as cables are in the way. Long nose pliers will help.
