There is a fill hole in the side of the transmission towards the middle facing inward. The fluid should be just high enough to not run out of the hole.
Yes it should. Im 99% sure it will. you might want to double check the part number to see for sure. i have a 1990 Acura integra and i have used many parts from integras from 1990- 1993.

if its a manual transmission you dont have one it has a plug you unscrew and look into if its an automatic its on the passenger side(the side with the transmission) it will have a yellow handle on it.
Check to see if there is gas in the tank.
Check your negative cable to the battery.

Check the fuse
The 1997 Acura Integra takes from 4.2 to 4.4 quarts of oil depending on the engine. Check the dipstick to make sure the oil is not overfilled.

check the bulbs
Check idle adjustment (rpm) then check timing, then check for misfire-start there.
my integra was getting a lot of water in the trunk because of the taillights so check those
