Use a new brush; make sure it's not too hard or it will scratch the bowl. Don't use any chemicals, no matter how well you think you can rinse it off. Or just get an algae eater fish. Also, pet stores sell stuff that kills algae without killing your fish. And DON'T go to garden stores for algae killer; that's different.
First get a bucket of water, and put the same volume as is in the bowl in the bucket. Let the bucket sit over night, and put water conditioner in it. Net the fish out of the bowl, and put it in the bucket with the new water. Rinse the bowl out, and sponge the inside to remove any algae. Clean, and put back the gravel and ornaments. Pour the water and fish back into the clean bowl. DONT USE SOAP.
you buy an algae fish at a pet store to eat the algae.
I clean my male betta's 1gal bowl at least once a week
No. They only eat algae. They are no fish that are tank cleaners.
4 days each like every 4 days you clean the bowl does not matter if its cold water fish or warm
You must clean the inside of your fish tank regularly to remove the algae that grows there. The algae grew thick on the rocks by the beach.
Because of algae growth, fish waste, the amount of oxygen decreasing because the fish are breathing it.
Take the fish(s) out and put them ether in a bucket or big bowl then you are free to clean the fishtank. Make sure the bucket/bowl has a fair amount of water in it.
algae tends to grow faster in clean water. so it depends if the aquarium is clean or the lake.depends on what lake.
Once a week
take out all the algae and put in a filter or oxygenating plants
If it is all over the rocks and walls it is time to put the fish in the small tank they came in while you do a full cleaning then put them back in. if it isn't to the full cleaning point (I full clean mine every 1-2 months) then you can buy algae scrubbers that you can use while the fish are in the tank, or if isn't that thick algae you can buy an algae eating fish.
