The same trick for blood stains in clothes and various other things. Your body has enzymes that can break down such stains. Just spit on it and rub it with a cloth.
I've had some success with muriatic acid- although you have to be very careful & only works if stains not too deep. They sell it in pool supplies.
Scrape off as much of the lip balm as you can.Rub liquid detergent into the stain.Wash the clothing in hot water.

Vaseline will leave a waxy build-up on top of the clothes. Scrape as much of this off as you can without damaging the fabric. Rub both sides of the stains with liquid detergent and wash them in hot water.

I have heard that soaking the clothes in milk is a good solution and also spraying hairspray on the ink spot and then blot the ink stain with a clean paper towel and then wash as usual.
