How do you clean pee from leather?

This is a tough one. You can get the urine out of the cloth, but usually it seeps down inside the batting and foam. The best thing to do is get a carpet cleaner to come in and have them do some deep cleaning on your furniture. After it's dry use "Febreeze" spray to get any odors out. I own pets and even though my dogs and cat are very clean, I put blankets on my furniture and take them off when company comes. This also is a good preventative measure if one of friends is coming over with her kids and they have their shoes on or have an accident. It's easier to wash the blankets and cheaper!

Human urine should be able to be removed from a leather couch by cleaning with an antibacterial solution that is not abrasive. If the couch does not come clean, professional cleaners may have to do the job.

Getting cat urine out of anything is difficult. I have had success with wooden furniture that has been stored in barns and the like. Other animals leave urine smells, but cats are the worst. I would suggest taking the settee outside on a sunny day and, if you have access to the underside stuffing, using a paste of corn starch and lemon. Brush it on wet and very thick, wait for it to dry, brush it off and repeat until the smell diminishes. If the leather is colorfast, try this on the outside, too. It will work for wood if you have arm rests or legs that are also the recipients of the urine. I have tried charcoal, baking soda and other products and have found corn starch and lemon to be the best. You might, for a stubborn smell, add baking soda to the mixture, too. Be sure to saturate the areas that are odoriferous and let stand in the sun until completely dry. Good luck!
