Lake or stream clean up can involve many stages:
* Stop any fresh pollution from entering the lake or stream * Remove floating oils and debris * Remove contaminated sediments if this can be done without compromising the ecosystem. Replace with new or decontaminated materials if apropriate.
* Harvest water plants that concentrate the pollutants and dispose of them in a proper site * Monitor the water and sediments for improvements * Repopulate any species killed by the pollution
Don't use pecesticides, they run off into rivers, go to a river (bring gloves) pick up trash. Remember, everything is connected, so if you do something to make the air or ground cleaner, it will also help the rivers.
you cant unless you get a HUGE rake!! ;)
to clean up polluted air, you should pick up litter, stop smoking , and not have buildings give out the smoke into the air. Also people should make cars without it having to give out the gas.
Groundwater is difficult to clean because, the water is dispersed throughout large areas of rock, and also because the pollutants can cling to the materials that make up the aquifer.
humans effect the ocean because of littering, pollution, oil spills & fishing.
Many clean rivers and watersheds have become polluted, and killed fish and other creatures. People dump trash on public roads, and often animals are road killed feeding on the garbage. Industrial pollution often went unchecked, making air qualities low. America, however, has cleaned up it's act, to where fewer waters are compromised, and air quality has improved.
I don't know much, but with all the plastic garbage thrown in our ocean, maybe cut down on your plastic consumption, recycle what you do use, and if possible maybe try volunteering for clean up. I know there are other ways, so just keep researching it.
They flood, dry up, get polluted, get covered up( LA has a river under all the concrete), diverted and damed up.
People are affected because we are in the polluted environment, so we have to breathe the polluted air, and suffer the consequences of the polluted rivers, oceans, lands and even atmosphere, where carbon dioxide is warming up the globe.
Both business interest groups and environmental interest groups
the wastage water of household use ,these water transfer from separated river so only one river is polluted and the other river is neat and clean, therefore in this way we can save the rivers from being polluted.
Probably, although much has been done in recent years to clean up the Thames.
You don't litter them in the first place
Most definitely; the Rio Grande river is polluted. It is full of toxic substances, e coli, and sewage. Efforts have been made to clean it up, however.

Some pros of the clean water act are: it had a huge impact in cleaning up our rivers, it is the most effective tool if polluted run-off and anti badation provisions are aggressively employed, and more opportunities fro citizen lawsuits than any other piece of enviormental legislation short of the EIS process.
It needs to ve put thru an industrial filter and chemicals to ve added. If it is a pond use a pump
they are heavily polluted areas thats need to modernize their industries and clean up the quality of the air and water
WALLE's job on Earth is to clean up the waste left behind by humanity, as shown in the movie "WALLE." He is a waste allocation robot designed to compact and clean up trash on a deserted and polluted Earth.
