How do you complete level 8 on acid factory?

from where you start: turn and face left walk towards the 4 set of bricks jump on them and walk and collect the nearest 2 batteries Then come off the bricks and walk towards the brown crate near you push it towards the gap between 2 lots of wierd steps it should fall into the acid Then walk backwards and run and jump onto the other side do this again (push the crate into the acid and run and jump) and do it again walk towards the vertical moving elavator and get on let it lift you up to the top and get off get the 2 batteries near you on the ledge once you have got these go in line with the other ledge (it has 3 batteries on it) jump right across and get the 3 batteries then go towards the advancer and finish the level

I took ages to figure it out... so long it almost drove me mad! But here's how you do it. Follow each step very carefully: 1. Go straight quickly from where you land first in the level - and jump over the acid. You have to be quick to avoid the green blob chasing you. 2. Pick up the battery and head straight, and when you get to the unactivated portal place turn right, go along, and jump up onto the pipes to the right of the green box. 3. Now, make sure the demented robot is right up against the green box. Then, jump over him and walk along the pipes. 4. Jump onto the next green box and pick up the gun, then drop down to the little island thing adjoining and, avoiding the acid, pick up the battery. 5. Now, jump to the wooden box floating in the water, and immediately fire the gun (press z - unless you have changed it) to destroy the tentacle and then keep on firing to destroy the green blob. Once you have done that, turn carefully so that you are facing the demented robot standing on the pipes you just walked along, and kill it. 6. Jump back from the wooden box onto the island adjoining to the second green box (where you got the gun) and then jump straight - turning slightly in mid air to land on the wooden chest floating next to a space between two green boxes where a green blob is moving around. 7. Shoot and destroy the green blob, then jump onto that space. Go to the edge - pressed up against the next set of green boxes, and jump onto the box with the battery on it. Then jump back. 8. Now jump onto those next green boxes - where another green blob should be waiting to attack you. Jump over it and the next green boxes and land on the end island thing. Push the toxic wooden box forward so that it lands in the water. 9. Quickly jump onto the box and to the chest, and then onto the top left metal island - careful of the acid - and pick up the battery. You have to be quick because of the tentacles. If you want to kill the tentacles then quickly jump onto the box or the chest and press your firing key - facing the tentacle. 10. Jump back to the bottom left metal island - avoiding the acid. Pick up the battery there and it will say your portal has been activated. Now you need to jump back to the chest and the box, and then onto the island - again avoid the acid. 11. Now stand as close as possible to the pipes as you can without jumping up and shoot the demented robot as it comes to the side - it might take a while. Then, once it is destroyed, jump onto the pipes and walk forward. Jump onto the green boxes, walk along the next set of pipes - jump onto the green boxes. 12. Then jump down into the portal and you have completed the level. Sorry that was so long. Be careful to not fall in any acid and complete each step exactly as stated.
