There are many ways to conserves energy in every day life. Some easy ways are...

* Turn off lights when you leave a room

* Turn off or unplug appliances / TV / radio / computer when not in use

* Recycle (paper, cardboard, plastic, metal, ect.)

* Use insulation

* Open windows in the summer for a breeze instead of AC

* Only heat rooms or floors of the house that are needed.

* Turn heat / AC to a lower setting when you are not home

* Water in the early morning

* Carpool, use public transportation, ride a bike, or walk instead of using a car

* Don't leave your car idling

* Re-use bags and papers and any other materials possible

* Use paper grocery bags instead of plastic (re-useable cloth bags are even better!)

* Make a compost of natural items (food peels, rinds, shells, seeds, ect.)

* Grow your own garden of fruits, veggies, and herbs

* Don't leave the tap or faucet running

* Use cloth rags instead of paper towels

* Buy recycled supplies (clothes, paper, ect.)
