Caution. People working in civil engineering, building and landscaping measure the volume of concrete, sand, gravel, soil, etc. in cubic yards, but they never actually speak or write the word 'cubic'. To convert one of these yards to weight, look up the density in lbs/cu.ft. , then multiply by 27.

Grams is mass, or weight, yards were distance, there is o conversion.
