This is sneeky, so you never heard this from me! Go to eather parent, parents (Grandma & pa), ask them if mom or dad ever did anything like that when they were young, remember though, tongue pirecing is way different then say something crazy your parents did wayyyyy back in the late 70's early 80's. I ended up caving in on all three of my daughters when they wanted to do it, and I was there all three times when thay had it done, and I was also there to give them each a hanky to dry their tears that were streaming, afterwards too! Try this one (; Go some place like Hot Topic and buy a fake one. Then just wear it until they find out. Once they do and get mad and cool off. Then get someone to pierce it for you and then you have the right of way (; I have no idea what I'm talking about xD

At the age of 14, you more than likely will not be able to get your tongue pierced. Most places require you to be 16 to get a piercing with parental consent. I can still give you some advice though. You have to give something in order to get something. Give him good grades, maybe he'll give you your piercing. Give him consistently done chores, maybe he'll give you your piercing. You usually have good luck striking up a deal like this.

you cant get your tongue pierced at 14 even with your parents permission at 16 you can get piercings with parents permission at 18 you can get anything without parents permission except exotics when you need to be at the age of majority (an adult under law).

well, it took a few tries for parent's to say yehs .. and their first answer was no.. and i asked why, they said , first of all , your onLy 13, and you go to a catholic school..

so i waited tried again a few days later, and ssaid i'd pay for it, answer was still no,.

and then i tried again later that night , and i said i'd pay for it, stop bugging you , and said pleaase constantly.. then they finally agreed to it.. now i have my tongue pierced :D:D:D

Well first you need to be old enough to get it done, some studios won't touch you regardless of parental consent. You need to do the research and know as much as possible about what you want to have done, then you need to back it up with written material from the studios you are thinking about getting it done at.

I would suggest you call and talk to a few shops and get as much info as you can to support your case for the piercing. Bottom line your mom needs to know that you have grown up and can assume some responsibility, that includes helping around the house and doing homework, chores etc.

Tongue piercing comes with a lot of risks and you need to know what they are and how to avoid damaging your teeth. Learn what you can then sit down and talk to her about it in a calm and educated manner. If she says no, then ask what you need to do to change her mind and work on that angle.

At 14 years old you are too young to get your tongue pierced. Your tongue is still growing and developing. Fact the plates of the human skull don't knit solid until you reach your early 30's.

Piercing studios will not pierce a minor under the age of 16 without parental consent. However there are piercing that studios won't do based on age regardless of parental consent or not, the tongue is one of them.

You need to just wait on the tongue piercing till you are at least 16~17 years old (or the bylaw age for your area). Anyone who would be willing to pierce your tongue at this time is willing to put you in danger and therefore could care less about your best interest other than lining there pocket.
