Exact size. If you cut it larger it tends to migrate up the sides leaving uncovered spots because of wind and surface tension.
Answerwith bubbles DOWN.Lay cover over pool and let cover "relax" in the sun. Use good sharp scissors and don't cut/chop, but slice while holding scissiors in a "V" Holding hand along the edge of the deck, just walk and slice the cover around the perimeter of the pool using the deck as a guide. Should fit like a dream. Special Kare pools/Las VegasAh, percisely the way I do it. Ken

A solar pool cover can help increase the temperature of a pool by around 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit depending on factors like sunlight exposure and pool size. The amount of heat gained will vary but generally, solar pool covers are effective at harnessing solar energy to warm up the pool water.

It is depends on the type, brand and size. It cost about $219 for the 10m x 6m solar swimming pool blanket cover and $512 for the solar pool cover 500 micron series.
A pool with a solar cover will absorb the heat faster during the day and when left on the pool over night it will prevent the loss of heat.
The purpose of a solar pool cover is to retain heat in the pool and reduce evaporation. It captures sunlight during the day, warming the water, and helps to maintain a comfortable temperature for swimming. Additionally, it minimizes debris accumulation and reduces chemical use by limiting exposure to the elements. Overall, a solar pool cover enhances energy efficiency and extends the swimming season.
They are the same thing basically. Pool Cover, Solar Cover, solar Blanket are all used interchangeably. It's basically some material, usually a plastic bubble mesh or vinyl covering that goes over the pool. The exception to this is Winter Cover which generally is heavier and designed to protect your pool during long winter months.
The smooth side of a solar pool cover should face down toward the water to help trap heat and prevent debris from entering the pool. The bubbles or air pockets on the cover should face up, as they help to capture and retain heat from the sun.
