How do you defeat the rancor on LEGO star wars II?

Actually you put a frag grenade in the bone pile first and then you put the synthesizer odor in the pile. After you do these two things in the order i told you the rancor will die from the frag in its mouth.

Go to the pile of bodies in the room, you'll probably want to be in solo mode during this. Place a frag grenade in the bodies, then place an odor synthesizer in the bodies. This will lead to a cut scene showing the rancor taking a bite from the bodies and then killing over after the grenade explodes inside it.

what u have to do is when the we monster thing comes down and gets picked up by the rancor u hit it with yar lightsaber and the just keep doing that
