1.Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Esc" keys at the same time to start the Task Manager.
2.Click the "Processes" tab in the Task Manager's window.
3.Select "AKProg.exe" from the list of processes and click "End Process" button at the bottom of the window.
4.Close the Task Manager.
5.Go to the "Start" menu, "type "regedit" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter" to start the Registry Editor.
6.Browse to the following in the Registry Editor's window:
"Microsoft" > "Windows" > "Current Version" > "Policies" > "Explorer" > "Run" > "Application"
7.Click the "Application" folder at the end of the string and then delete the "AKProgram" value in the right pane of the Registry Editor's window.
8.Close the Registry Editor.
9.Go to the "Start" menu, type "cmd" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter" to start the command line window.
10.Type "regsvr32 /u hkdll.dll" in the command line window and hit "Enter" to unregister the DLL. Type "regsvr32 /u hprog.dll" in the command line window and hit "Enter" to unregister the DLL.
11.Close the command line window.
12.Go to the "Start" menu, type "hkdll.dll" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter." Delete all search results.
13.Repeat Step 1 for "hprog.dll," "AKProg.exe," "AKProg.exe.manifest," "Actual Keylogger Help.lnk," "Actual Keylogger.lnk," "Uninstall Actual Keylogger.lnk" and "Actual.lnk."
14.reboot your computer.

∙ 11y agoGood question for you to stop a in the past you had to detect the first. Which as we all know is a battle as if it were that easy anti virus software would do it for us. And this question would never had been posted.
If you look in wikipeida at keystroke logging and under countermeasures you will find a way to battle keystroke loggers and it is called keystroke interference. "These programs trick all by introducing random keystrokes causing difficulties for the keystroke software to capture the real keystrokes. "
Keystroke Interference makes it impossible for to capture real data. Yes they still get the data but what they get is not readable and therefore it stops the hackers from getting all your data.

If you want to pause it then there should be a settings in the keylogger settings.
If you want to uninstall, then you can uninstall from add/remove

As far as my knowledge goes, it is nearly impossible to embed keylogger in anything except .EXE, .SCR, .CMD ,BAT etc file formats in short you can only embed keylogger in a file that has executable extension, however this can be hard to infect a remote pc with these file extensions because these days average computer user is smart enough to not open any file except images,videos,documents(pdf,doc,xl etc) and links, so if you send someone keylogger that ends with let say .EXE file extensions he wont open unless he trusts you enough and he requested you a software(because softwares have install package that usually ends with .exe)
