You can't! I just talked to Nintendo about this and the stupid military time that you cannot change to 12 hour. Which is incredibly ignorant! The only people who use military time are military people and maybe Nintendo. But certainly not me and definitely not normal children. The excuse I got was that they may not have had room to put an am or pm, so they did it to avoid confusion. Confusion like having to count on your fingers everything after 12 pm because you are not familiar with military time? I love the 3DS, but it needed better development.
Simply go to the register friend card and at the top it will say notifications. All you have to do then is delete that specific friend card.
