Unit types move separate ranges. Some are subject to special rules (such as slow and purposeful) but almost all follow the same pattern with variations in later phases.

Infantry moves 6 inches (May run a further D6 in the shooting phase)

Jump infantry moves 12 Inches (May run a further D6 in the shooting phase)

Cavalry and beasts move 6 inches (May run a further D6 in the shooting phase)

Monstrous Creatures move 6 inches (May run a further D6 in the shooting phase)

Bikes move 12 inches (May turbo-boost a further 12 inches in the shooting phase)

Walkers move 6 inches (May run a further D6 in the shooting phase)

Standard vehicles may move up to 6 inches and fire one weapon, or move 12 inches and fire none.

Fast vehicles may move up to 6 inches and fire all weapons, move 12 inches and fire one, or move 18 inches and fire none.

As long as a vehicle can fire one weapon, it may fire defensive weapons (weapons of Strength 4 or lower).

Walkers, Infantry, Bikes, Jump Infantry and Monstrous creatures may not charge or shoot if they have ran, unless allowed by a special rule (fleet of foot, relentless, etc. etc).

Walkers, Infantry, Bikes, Jump Infantry and Monstrous creatures all charge 6 inches (though there may be variations taking special rules into account).

Cavalry and beasts charge 12 inches.
