Dig a pit at least four ft. deep with length & width suitabe to the size of the dead pet. Cover the bottom with a single layer of cloth. Put the dead pet on the cloth piece. Put salt on the dead pet atleast equal to one fourth of the weight of dead pet. Fill up the pit in the same way as in case of burial of human dead body.

Dig a nice hole in the back yard, then bury the kitten. Make sure the hole is at least 12" deep or kitty might be dug up by some meat-eating crittur.
