If u want to do short layers you cut the top pieces shorter than the bottom pieces. Long layers you just cut top pieces medium length bottom pieces only dead ends. Long layers are barely noticable.

Yes but only on pixie cuts not long hair so I think you should just get a pixie cut if you want to cut your hair. Long hair is sooooo annoying but a pixicut with some long pieces is much easier to manage.
