Just be honest with her, tell her that you want to break up... trust me at the time it will hurt her but down the road she will appreciate you being honest with her and not doing what a lot of guys do and just avoid the issue till the "problem" goes away.

if you don't want to dump her make her dump you by hanging out with her friends and worst enemy and make sure there's someone who will gossip it to her. Instead of going to places with her stay at home play the computer or xbox or something. Watch action movies and take more intrest in the movie than her. Don't take much interest in her like e.g. don't hug her or kiss her as much. Make it look like you're bored. I'm doing it now and it's working. No offence to my gf now but she always hugs other guys and crap soo its annoying soo im dumping her ass.

First of all consider why, if it is how she acts or does something tell her that you don't like it.

If there is no way around it just tell her to her face. It may be mean but its the best way, otherwise she will be pised off and annoyed if you did it by text or by a friend.

Say it to her nicely and tell her why. Make sure you try and still be friends with her.

The word "dump" sounds like you use something and then throw it away on a garbage dump (although I'm sure you mean it as a play on words) and don't care or don't realize that you have hurt someone else's feelings. When you find that a relationship isn't working out you "break-up" with the person, not "dump" them and move on. It's best to move on when you have been dating someone for a period of time because it's obvious she may still love you and by being friends it's like pouring salt in her wounds. Trying to be friends with an ex seldom works out and it's an extremely low percentage that does. You've made your decision so quit pulling my chain ... you just want to keep tabs on this girl to see who else she may date and then you may decide to jump back into the game. This girl doesn't need more friends!
