well, whatever your hair color is you want a contrasting color, say if your hair is.. platinum blonde.. you want a darker color to do the peekaboos, and if your hair is brown/black, you should chose blond for the best results, or you can chose a color that isn't normal hair, like blue/pink
next you section the hair in the back, from the tops of both of the ears straight across, and take the top part of the hair and clip it up. now all were working with is the bottom part you sectioned off. take vertical partings start at the left ear working your way to the right, each about a quarter of an inch thick, and every other one one you want to dye. and that will give you peekaboos!
