How do you earn a perfect town in Animal Crossing City Folk?

Make sure you have NO weeds,clovers,fruit lying on the floor, garbage and no dead flowers ( they will become withered/brown ).Make sure you have flowers, trees how much as possible and you have patterned on the floor 16 x 16 acre sqaures.

Town Acres(16X16)An easy way to accomplish the Perfect Town Status is to plant a reasonable amount of trees and plants by 16 spaces up and down and 16 spaces across in an suitable area in your town. Have at least 10-15 trees and 7-12 flowers in each acre. The next step is to remove all Weeds or Rafflesia (Rafflesia will only appear after a huge amount of time). Then Pick up all dropped items in that area (Fruit and Shells are not included).

You may need to mark the area by placing down a design or digging holes, however the holes you have made will disappear after you save the game.

Flower bonus (Jacobs Ladder)There is a possibility that a Jacobs Ladder will grow in a day when your Town is perfect...

You need to have a lot of trees everywhere in your town but not too clustered together. You also need no junk on the ground, absolutely no weeds and you need many flowers all throughout town for extra help ask Pelly at the town hall and click on 'Environment'. She will tell you what needs doing!

you must talk to Pelly in the town hall and ask her what she thinks of your town. If she says it's perfect, then keep it like that for 16 days and you will get the golden watering can.

If you have a wilted black rose, water it with the golden can and the next day it will be gold!
