Do you mean removing the lid? If so, FIRST, TURN OFF THE EQUIPMENT / PUMP, there should be a lever near or at the rim of the lid that you push in then you rotate the lid counter clockwise. Be sure that you use the same type of tabs - the highest grade possible. Follow the manufacturers instructions.
