Purchase a small cheap hand pump at most auto parts stores and pump it out.
i believe its a 20 gallon gas tank.
Mounted on top and inside the fuel tank.
inside that tank, its atached to the fuel pump assembly
YES , the electric fuel pump is in the fuel tank along with the sending unit for the fuel gauge
Don't know that there is one. Use a common siphon to empty the tank.
It may be empty! see if there is fuel in the carburetor.
The front tank is the main tank and the rear tank is the auxiliary tank.
I don't know the exact amount, but I put about 20 gallons in when I fill mine up from empty. At least 20 gallons.
Maximum capacity of the fuel tank is 17 gallons if totally empty.
I believe it is 19 gallons ( U.S. ) front tank on your 1987 F150 long bed
...no
I have a 2001 f150 lariat and it was half full. When I topped it off it took 11.5 gal.s. I'm not sure of the reserve tank size but I'm thinking I have a 20 gal tank plus or minus a couple of gallons.
