could you please tell me how to deactivate the alarm system in my 1997 Chevy Malibu. it is driving me crazy. i really don't need it at all.
The alarm system, in your 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, can be reset by removing the fuse. Keep the fuse out for 10 seconds and replace it to its original slot.

You are suppose to keep a electrial charge to the alarm system by hooking up a battery to the aux outlet in the car. or by known the alarm code that gets entered on the radio after the electrail system has been disconnted. I f you don't known the code You will have to take it to a shop and have it reset
