Photo synthesis occurs when plants containing a pigment, chlorophyll traps the energy in the sun and uses the energy to create a chemical reaction. Then raw materials, carbon dioxide and water are combined to make sugar(glucose). The left over energy is then stored in a form of starch and carbohydrates, in the leaves, roots and stem. It then releases its main byproduct oxygen.-Zahaa Safodien

  1. roots absorb water from the soil.
  2. water is transported from the roots to the leaves by the stem.
  3. chlorophyll in the leaves capture sunlight to act on water.
  4. oxygen and moisture are given off to the air.
  5. carbon dioxide enters the leaves through the stomata.
  6. carbon dioxide combines with a substance in the cell, eventually producing a kind of sugar.
  7. the sugar(dissolved in water) is transported from the leaves to the different parts of the plant.
  8. once the sugar reaches the different parts of the plant body, it may used up by the cells. or it may be converted into starch and stored for the future used.

disceess the photochemical kinetice of the following reactions

H2+Br2-----

I have been thinking about this for all my 51 years! I believe that the angle of the Earth compared to the Sun's rays (90 degrees) slows the speed of sunlight and changes its structure to a different magnetic form! The Sun's energy is absorbed in the Earth's soil and changed to evolutionary biological structures which focus organic energy to create a higher form of energy! As light gets slowed the Earth's magnetic field recoils and then erupts like a rubber band shooting plants into the air which are reproductions of past forms that have merged with time! The soli is heated by the light which melts into organic flowing pumps of gas!

Why does photosynthesis occur in leaves?

Photosynthesis needs sunlight to occur. Therefore photosynthesis does not occur in the roots because they do not receive any sunlight. The leaves are the parts of the plant most exposed to the light.
