The exact schedule, i.e: day, time, and track, depends on what series you're interested in. I THINK that all three of the major series, Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Truck, run on a February- August schedule (I think) and then the newest series(iRacing) is up and running year round. The three major Nascar series run from February through November.
Firstly, the length of time to train for a half marathon will depend on your natural physical activity, your routine running, general health, age, sex, weight etc. Ideally your training schedule should be 10-12 weeks with varied intensity. However, before you enter this staggered intensity schedule, you should be comfortable running for 30 minutes. It can take a fortnight or more to get your body used to running depending on how active you are to…
Depends on what it is that you want to improve. Sprints can be improved with some weight training. Overall speed and endurance can be improved by interval training. Many athletes find it helpful to stick with a running training program. This will provide a schedule which to follow that will allow you to reach your running goals. Though it is very important to drink plenty of water, do not drink a lot of water in the hour or two before a run. In addition, running on a regular, progressive schedule may help your body adjust to running better. If, while…
Do hill runs. Running over hilly terrain has been proven to gradually build up speed over time, so you should definitely incorporate some hill training into your workout schedule. Running uphill may be harder at first, but after a while of getting used to it, you will find it much easier to run on a level surface, and you'll run at a faster speed.
