One can find Christmas quilt designs from various sources. They can be on various websites, in books and magazines. Some of those sources are Bella Online, Quilt Maker, Quilt Mag and McCalls Quilting.
In the Oz books, there is only one color of brick road mentioned, and that is yellow. (Yellow, not gold.) In the famous movie version, however, there is also a red brick road, whose beginning spirals among the yellow one. It goes off in another direction, and we never find out where it goes. But perhaps it's telling in that Glinda's bubble appears to be following the red brick road as she leaves Munchkinland.
I know of a website actually called quilt-hangers.net. They offer wooden quilt hangers that can "gently hang any quilt, no sleeves needed!" According to the site, the hangers are invisible and they can be used with any quilt. They are made in the USA.
