It all depends on the age, condition and the collect ability of the rifle.

The Remington model 4 rolling block rifle was made between 1890-1933.If you have a model 4S military rifle, then these were made by Remington from 1913-1923.your rifle has either a 22.5in barrel,or a 24in barrel. These were chambered in .22,.25 Stevens,or 32 caliber.

I received a similar rifle from my grandfather. He had a letter from Remington stating the rifle was manufactured between 1900 - 1907, if I remember correctly.

In order to determine the exact value of a Remington Rolling Block rifle, a few different factors would need to be taken into consideration. Some of these things would be the age and condition of the rifle.

They only made the from 1936 to 1941, really only 1939.

Introduction Year: 1948 Year Discontinued:1970

Look at the date code stamp on the barrel. See related links for information on interpreting these (and there location) on the Remington Society of America.

The exact value of a Remington 22 automatic long rifle model 550-1 would actually be dependent upon a number of factors. Some of these factors would be the age and condition of the rifle.

That will depend on the make of the rifle and the age of your pump rifle.

Made 1927 - date coded on barrel , see manufactured date information on Remington Society of America

1930, it's date code stamped on the barrel, see related links for information on the Remington Society of America.

Find the serial number and google the Remington sight. They should have records of when the weapon was produced.

Look at the barrel on the left side, about a half inch forward of the receiver- you should find some very small letters stamped there. You may need a magnifier to accurately read them. They are a code to show month and year made. The Remington Collector's Website has a table of date codes to decipher them. Note that is the date the BARREL was made. If original to rifle, is also date rifle was made.

Not clear if this is the question your asking but if your wondering the age of a Model 12C with serial no 178616 it was made in 1913.

Contact Remington Customer Service through their website.

depends on what model it is as well as the age. need more details on the rifle.

They only made them from 1932-1935 and they are date code stamped on the barrel. See related links for information on the Remington Society of America.

Sorry- Remington rifles are dated by a 2 or 3 LETTER code stamped on the barrel, left side, half inch from receiver. Not by a serial number.

The Remington 673 Guide Rifle is a newer arm, a redesign of the Model 600 from the 1960s. The exact value depends on condition, caliber, and options the rifle has, but is listed between $500 and $800 on most sportsman's auctions. MSRP is around $925.

With Remington rifles and shotguns, age is not determined by serial number. It is determined by a 2 or 3 letter barrel code. Small letters, on the LEFT side of the barrel, just in front of the receiver. You may need a strong light/ magnifier. Once you find them, Google search for BLACKPOWDERX Remington. That should take you to the Remington Collectors Website, with the barrel code date tables. BLACKPOWDERX was the code used by Remington- B=1, L=2, A=3, etc.

Depends on the model but something like a rolling block #1 would be from 1868-1888.

Answerto find the age, take the gun apart and search it over. the stamps may have been rubbed off but take the stock off and the rifle but, it should be there. if not, start taking it appart, make sure to take notes on how it goes back together. verry important! The Remington web site says that this rifle was made between 1932 and 1935. Approximately 163,000 were made. The serial numbers start at 000001 and go up to 163000.It's stamped on the left side of the barrel right before the receiver, check related links for information on the Remington Society of America.

It was made in 1926, you can get the month/year from the link I'll add here in a second that has all the details;) (Remington Society of America)
