The easiest way is to call someone who has Caller ID (for example, call your own cellphone from the land line). There are also special numbers you can dial to have the telephone switch read back to you the phone number, but those numbers vary from place to place and phone company to phone company.
Unless you have a Caller ID display, you probably can't. The various features that allow you to call back the last person who called you, or anything similar, generally only have access to the last number, not the next-to-last number.
If the number is private then you cannot retrieve it. However, if you wish to call that number back (and it is the last call you received) you can dial *69.
dial 1471

By knowing my phone number. Then by using a phone to call me.
Call your phone company and report it. Then get your number changed.
If you have received this message when you called somebody, it means that the person you tried to call is no longer using that phone, or they are out of minutes.
Maybe somebody called from a phone card?
Someone else may have received the call and answered your phone.
911 for help in an emergency call a friend if it is not an emergency
You can't. If you dial the number to the house phone from that same phone you will get a busy signal.
Most likely you received a call or text from a phone where someone is incarcurated, and they can not take incoming calls when you tried to call the number back. Were you calling a number of someone you knew,or that you were familiar with? Or were you responding to a message left on your phone,or a text?
You can call any phone from another phone. You can make a call to another phone as long as you have time on the phone.
