The volume of a rectangular prism is found by;

Volume = Length x Width x Height

The volume of a triangular prism is found by;

Volume = 1/2 x Length x Width x Height

Therefore, Length, Width and Height being identical,

1) the volume of a rectangular prism is twice that of a similar triangular prism

OR

2) the colume of a triangular prism is half that of a similar rectangular prism.

The volume of a rectangular prism would double if you double the height.

The volume of a rectangular prism is base*height*length in cubic units

Volume of a rectangular prism = base x height. If volume and height are known, solve for base area by dividing volume by height.

width*height*length=perimeter of a rectangular prism! :)

There is not enough information to determine the height.

If they have the same height, then the rectangular prism will require more paint. (Having the same height the prism will have more surface area than the pyramid).

It is Length * Breadth * Height.

Volume of a rectangular prism is length x height x width.

The volume of a rectangular prism is given by the formula volume of rectangular prism = length x width x height If the length is l, the width is w and the height is h the volume is given by volume = lwh

V = Length x Width x Height 50x35=1750 122500/1750=70 The height of the rectangular prism is 70cm.

A rectangular prism is also a rectangular cuboid. It is a rectangle with six sides because it has length, depth, and height. Click on the related link for an illustration of a rectangular prism.

The answer depends on what information is available.

It depends on what it is to be converted into.

The answer depends on what information you have about the prism.

A rectangular prism with a length of 14, width of 8 and height of 5 has a volume of 560 cubic units.

It is 2*(Length*Breadth + Breadth*Height + Height*Length).

For the same base dimensions (base area) and the same height, the rectangular prism has more surface area.
