This means that you have a gas leak somewhere in the engine compartment. The smell comes from the AC air inlet pumping in fresh air from the engine compartment, which is where the leak is. Check your injector o-rings for deterioration. Also check your fuel pressure regulator and lines.
Remove transmission and replace front seal.
Find source and fix it.
I am pretty sure there are three engine/transmission mounts. One on the passenger side of the enginer compartment, one in the front of the engine/transmission and the other behind the engine/transmission. The ones in the front and back of the engine are a pain in the @ss to fix.
