well if you got a ripped suit or tuxedo or dinner jacket the best way to find out if its ripped is check every part of the silk lining from the seams at the bottom and sleeves and the seams in the lining or if you got a rip in a center vent or one of the side vents the best way to fix a rip in the lining is use a reweaver you can stitch back all the threads in a seam but if you got a rip which doesent have a seam its damaged betyond repair but if you got a rip on the outside of the suit like the bottom of the back or a sleeve or the center or side vents or pockets you can use a reweaver even if your central vent has been torn slitley due to pulling on both ends of the vent leading to stress to pull on not just the suit itsleff but the silk lining will also get ripped because when you pull on both ends you are basicly pulling the seams apart but you can fix it by reweaving it so if you got a suits in your wardrobe cheack each one from the lining to the bottom of the suits and central and side vents and especialy cheack the pockets.

No, but children's modeling clay can. I used it once to fix a seam in a radiator that I had in an old car. I put the clay on the seam and covered it with foil. When my dad got around to fixing it he had problems getting my patch job off.
Put any type of glue at the two ripped ends, then wait a few seconds for the glue to dry, then staple the ripped part and put it in the freezer and then wait a few hours and the ripped parts will be stuck together
Do you apply glue down and roll out vinyl then apply seam sealer to melt the edges together.
