That depends on the problem. If it's just a battery problem, replace the battery and follow the instructions on the inside of the fob. If the fob has failed, Saturn requires that you take it to a dealer to program the replacement fob.
To program the key fobs for the Kia Sorento, one must connect terminal 6 of the diagnostics board with the battery using the wires from jumper cables. One must then put the key into the ignition and put it in the "On" position. Be careful not to actually start the car. While the car is on, hold the "Lock" button on the fob down for a few seconds to program.
C200 key fob problem
your question needs more explanation. central locking fob . ????????
Let the Kia dealer do this ... the car is still under warranty.
== == A low battery in the key fob will cause the fob to loose it's function, not it's program. A low vehicle battery will not cause this problem.
I have a Toyota, and my key fob light stayed on also. I called the dealer, and they said the button on the fob was stuck down INSIDE the fob. So, I simply unscrewed the screw on the back of the fob, opened the fob, then put it back together. The fob was fixed. I didn't have to fix anything in the fob.
Two wire connection in the fob. Open and check both wires are fix in place.
I have a 2007 Kia sorento. Just bought a key fob. Everything I am finding on the net is saying this Get a jumper wire. Small wire, almost like an alligator clip with one end striped. Open the diagnostic port behind the battery. Locate terminal 6, which is the second one from the top in the first row of eight. (if you are looking at it the first row of eight is the one on the right) Put one end of your jumper in slot six and connect the other end to the positive of your battery Turn ignition to on. Do not star engine Hold down the lock button on fob for three seconds. Dash light should go off Disconnect wire Turn off ignition and try fob I'm trying this but with no luck Let me know if it works for you Good luck I have also changed the oil and trans fluid if you need help with that
The key fob doesn't get reset... the keyless entry module gets programmed to accept commands from that key fob. If your key fob suddenly stops working and it's not a battery issue, then you either have a problem with your key fob itself, or the keyless entry module, and it'll need to be diagnosed and repaired accordingly.

I accidently put 2 auto start key fob's through the wash-I was told by friends to have the key fob sit in a bowl of uncooked rice. The rice will absorb the moisture. I did this for a day or so and they both worked-I didn't even have to replace the batteries!
