An HP Pavilion dv6 desktop computer costs 1100 US dollars. For the other models of HP Pavilion desktop computers the prices are also in the 1000 US dollars area.
Yes, Even the base specced HP Dv6 should be an i5 processor with 4GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7690M XT graphics card, this hould run TF2 without issue.
It depends on your opinion. In my point of view, the pavilion is a good computer, just a little big and inconvinient for travel, though.
Depends on what you plan to use it for. In terms of sheer power, the dv7 is "better" than the dv6 because it has a newer processor (3rd gen i7 vs 2nd gen i5), and a better screen (1600x900 vs 1366x768). However, in terms of price efficiency, the older dv6 is "better" because its age has reduced its price by on average $100 compared to the dv7. The extra $100 is, in my opinion, not worth the slight improvement, because it will not be noticeable in every-day use.
Typically those models do not. "dv6" just means it's between 15.6"-16" screen. It depends. (This is assuming you mean the dv6 laptops) I got a dv6 just recently and it gave me the option to add a backlit keyboard. If you have it then try looking for a button on the top row of you keyboard in the upper right hand corner next to the delete button.

i have an hp pavilion dv6-6140us intel core i3 15.6 (2.4ghz) laptop and want to upgrade it to dual band compatability. Will it burn out if i buy the dualband card and add it to the laptop? i bought a tp link archer c7 dualband router and i want to get into the 5ghz internet server.
Yes, I have one and it overheats so badly that the computer shuts down. I google dv6 overheat and found that it was very common. I thought I got a great deal, but a computer that I can only use on the lowest power and graphics settings isn't a good deal. I could have gotten a cheaper version...
