How do you fix your dish reciver when it says complete signal loss?

There could be a number of factors causing the complete signal loss. On the back of the receiver you have coax cable/cables connected to Sat In. Depending on the type receiver you have, you may have 1 or 2 Sat In terminals. You want to check those cables to make sure they are hand tight. Check all connections to ensure they are tight from the receiver till it goes through the wall or floor.
You can also check that nothing is obstructing the dish on the outside - tree, bird, etc. If this doesn't resolve the issue, we probably need to send a technician to fix the problem.
