I have a 98 Oldsmobile and the ac blender motor is stuck on the hot temp position how can i replace or repair this item.
If the fan only goes on high ir some of the slow speeds don't work:
Answer, replace fan resistor
There is a resistor "network" board up under the glove box mounted to firewall.
It is tricky to get out and really hard to bolt back in. I recall i din't get one bolt back in.
It is probaly a dealer only part.
flex drive 1/4 socket set will help
Sounds like a blown fuse?
Remove (or have a professional remove) the center console. The cup holder may or may not be repairable.
Replace the lighter housing. If that does not fix it, look for a short in the wiring.
Probably the ignition key switch...I have the same problem
hey i have a 1999 oldsmovile intrigue with the same problem neither my driver or passanger side seat work and its a pain cause im 6'4 and the seats half way up. im gunna attepmt to tear the carpet up and find the wire running to it ill let you no how i make out
Take it to a mechenic asap....lady%preach
You need to find the source of the small fuel system vapor leak.
That is cooling fan 1 control circuit malfunction. check out the fan motor, and temperature sending unit, fan relay, and fuse.
Your question is kind of vague, but I would follow this guide: http://redhouseon7th.com/redhouse/howto/2009OldsmobileWiperRepair/index.html as a start at least.
how to fix a sun roof top switch on a 1991 Oldsmobile
GM has a TSB on this and has released an updated alternator to fix the issue (if you really want to spend $400 to fix it).
You will need be able to fix it as you need a machine that can cause a vacuum inside the system. You have to take it to a shop and it will be expensive.
