First, you fold it in half long ways. Then, with the crease on top, take and fold a tip. Then you have it.
David Blaine controls the focus of the crowd to pull off his tricks. In the dollar bill trick, he asks the audience for a dollar bill. He proceeds to move the seal on the bill from one side to another. When he gets the dollar bill from the audience, it is discreetly replaced with his "fake" dollar bill with the seals on both sides of the bill. He slowly tugs on the bill, and shows only the part he wants the audience to see, as it looks like the seal is moving along to the other side of the bill.
The star signifies that it is a replacement bill for one that was destroyed earlier. Any denomination bill can have a star in its serial number. These bills are rarer than non-star bills and can be of value to a collector (greater than face value). But like most collectibles condition is everything for coin and paper money collectors. To get top value for the bill it must be in crisp, torn, folded condition or like new. If the bill is circulated with tares, folds, dirt, etc... the value goes down significantly and may only be worth face value as a normal bill.

You fold the 20 dollar bill in half (hot dog if you know what I mean, the skinny way). Make sure that you can not see the front side at all. Then you make sure that you are on the bottom half of the dollar bill with the 20 sing strait up. Then fold the right half down on a slant but up right. Then you do the same with the left side. Finally turn it up side down and it looks like the twin towers exploding.
It's very hard to fold a dollar bill into a graduation cap, as this particular origami pattern is usually performed with a square or square like material. If you follow the steps and adjust for length, you can recreate a decent facsimile.
You will need: 2 paperclips and 1 dollar bill First, take the dollar bill and fold over 1 side 1/4 of the dollar bill. Take a paperclip and hold it in place. Next fold the other side the opposite way accordion style. The dollar bill should be folded to look like 1/4 of the original shape of the dollar. This next part is tricky. Do not clip the whole thing together after that. if you do that, one of the paperclips will fall off of the dollar. Take the inside flap of the dollar and the outside flap and hold them in place with the paperclip. Pull fast and the paperclips should be connected. To watch the video, go to Easybartricks.com. Enjoy!
Well, if you just want folds, don't fold it in half over and over, fold it like an accordian. Then you can get more than 8 folds in without being unable to continue. You could also just fold each corner over twice... that's 8.
