Follow these steps after you have gotten a fresh haircut or it hasn't been too long since your last one.
1) Shampoo then condition your hair. (Your choice what to use)
2) While hair is damp, (not wet) rub the moisturizer lotion or oil of your choice into your scalp and hair. Some good ones are carrot creme, olive oil, motions, and tea tree oil.
3) Make sure hair is still damp. Now start brushing in your desired wave pattern direction for a few minutes. Its essential that your hair is STILL damp througout this process. You can add some extra water if you need to along the way. This just adds extra moisture to your hair which is great for getting and keeping waves.
4) After you have moisturized and brushed your hair, put either a du-rag or stocking cap on your head. MAKE SURE THE MATERIAL IS EITHER SATIN OR SILK! Cotton, nylon, and polyester DRY your hair out, no bueno. Forget that after a few hours take of your cap crap, just sleep with it overnight, it makes life simple lol.
5) Wake up. Stretch and yawn. Scratch your balls. Take off your cap and brush your hair for a few minutes............then be off.....
