How do you get Cresselia in Pokemon HeartGold in Pokemon HeartGold?

First you need to have the national pokedex then you need to go to canalave and talk to the sick boy and then his mother and after that talk to the sailor and he will take you to full moon island and once you get to the end you will see cresselia and it will run away from you. After that you will see it wild around sinnoh( like mesprit you can use the tracker on it).go to new moon island (you can get there by using action reply and chosing the walk on water cheat) and catch cresselia like you got mespirt but its not as hard to get to battleFirst you must have the national pokedex, then you go to canalave and go to the sailors house. there should be a boy having nightmares. Talk to the mother and boy then to the sailor he should take you to full moon island or whatever its called. If you follow the path you come across cresselia and then she flies away leaving the lunar wing. after that you go back to the sailer and give the wing to the boy. to catch cresselia, use your marking map, because cresselia flys away like mesprit. :)

also use a Pokemon that can lern mean look to trap cresselia, bet Pokemon for that would be a lvl 65 crobat. good luck use block or scary face so it can't escape and then attack it to catch it or go to full moon island. cresselia will be there then will vanish. chase it around sinnoh and catch it with a masterball. After you beat the game, go to Canalave City and there will be a sick boy there. Go back outside and talk to the sailor to go to Full-Moon Island. Cresselia will be there, with the Luner Wing needed to cure the boy. You will see Cresselia disappear, but it has really teleported to another location in Sinnoh. This is the beginning of a very long, difficult capture, because you have to catch up to it and then hurry to find its exact location before you can catch it.Then return to Canalave and use the Marking Map to track Cresselia, who apparently has the ability to teleport. that is all correct but in the part of using fly. it teleports as fast as you take three or four steps. i suggest, and you can do this anywhere, but go to jubilife city. then go down to where it meets route 202, and go up one step, then down one step. cresselia will teleport every time you change areas like routes, towns, etc, etc. then once you're doing that watch the map for where cresselia is, then when its at route 202 use any kind of repel then run through the tall grass and you should find it i suggest a masterball since it runs after your first move.-wikitikisuperwangtang

Once you beat the elite four go to Canalave City and go to the house second down from the gym. Enter the house and you will see a little boy sick. Talk to him, the mom, and the dad. Then the dad will take you to lunar island. You will see cresselia but it will escape. Cresselia will then become a random encounter Pokemon, you'll have to use your Poketch app called Marking Map ( its a map that allows you to put shapes on the map) Once you have that open Cresselia will appear on the map. Bike to it's location, because using fly makes it appear in a new location. Cresselia will also run away after one turn so use a move like mean look which prevents opponents from escaping. Or use a Pokemon with the ability of arena trap which also prevents an opponent from escaping.
