You DO NOT find Giratina in Pokemon Gold, which was made before Giratina.
Pokemon is divided into generations (4 so far, 5th one coming out in Japan this year), and Giratina is a Generation IV Pokemon, while Gold is a Generation II game.
However, if you mean HeartGold- that's easy, just trade with Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, where it can be caught, or any other compatible Generation IV or above game which has the Pokemon.

∙ 12y agoIf you keep checking spinda's cafe once a day then you will eventually come across a day in there whereby a Pokemon on the left after you enter will tell you there's going to be a mission that requires you to retrieve the rock drum and once you obtain that, keep it with you when going back into the world abyss.
warning::in the recruiting of Giratina, you cannot have any missions accepted when you go in

∙ 11y agoGiratina is not obtainable from Pokemon White 2.
However you can trade him from Diamond, Pearl (both from Turnback Cave), Platinium (Dissortion World) and HeartGold/Soul Silver if you were lucky enough to gain the event Celebi. (Giratina can be found at Lv 1 if you complete in game event Celebi causes).
